Jaali Degreetainment
Jaali degree issue has become so popular in Pakistan that I am sure in coming days we will hear newscasters saying " hamra next segment hae "Jaali Degreetainment" ;-)
When kidz will hear stories of great leaders , they will ask innocently " un ki jaali degree tu nahi thi naa? " ...
Housewife will ask their husbnads . " Munnay kay Abba Makhian tang karti hain degree lagwa dain windows pe " ;-)
Wysey we must appreciate our president. Atleast he did not try to get any jaali degree and saved HEC and Election Commission from "Khapp(y)'khapai. ;-)
I think our 'educated' heroines would also change their statement. They should say " Jub F.A kay papers they tu mujhey flu ho gya tu I could not appear in the exams. Aur Jub B.A kay papers denay ki baari aiii tu mujhey itna shadeed , itna shadeed bukhar tha kay bus" ;-)Thursday, July 8, 2010
Another 'mistake' :-)
Punjab government has just announced that amendments in Nikkah Law were a 'mistake' and this notification will be taken back tomorrow.

New Conditions of Nikkah in Punjab
" saadi waari aai tae kugoo roo piya"
When it's our turn , everything has gone wrong :-)
It is in the news that Punjab government has made eight amendments to the Nikka nama law. Some important amendments are as follows:
1- It has made necessary for both bride and bridegroom to undergo medical check up.
2- It is compulsory to enter correct date of brith in the nikkah form. Date of birth should be matched with birth certificate or with the school certificate.
3- Photos of both bride and bridegroom must be on Nikkah form.
4- It is also mandatory for parents/guardians of both bride and bridegroom to sign the nikkah nama document as witnesses.
I wonder whether it is compulsory to fill all the columns of Nikkah form or not. Why Punjab government has not made it compulsary to not to leave any single 'shiq' of Nikkah nama???
In our conservative society it seems so difficult to go for a medical check up especially for marriage :-/ How the brides of remote areas of Punjab will go through these processes? I know many of you must be having smile on thier faces on my 'absurd' thinking but the set up that I have seen in our rural society will not digest this amendment so easily.
And , there would be a photo session before marriage to get fresh photos for Nikkah form :-) So, bride and bridegroom need to go to beauty parlour twice otherwise Maulvi sahib will get confused :-D ( Dulha jee ki baari tu baa'd main aaye gi )
Last but not least , what is the fate of Heerz and Ranjha'z of Punjab. Muhabbat Punjab main parwan charhey gii aur Nikkah Khyber Pakhtunkhawa main hahahhaha..... ;-) Aur PK government kay liye pehlay Punjabi Taliban they ub Punjabi aashiqan ;-)
